Certified Green!

Thomas Dillard, founder and president of Dillard-Jones Builders LLC, has earned the Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The Certified Green Professional program recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction. CGP coursework teaches residential homebuilders how to reduce environmental impact by incorporating appropriate green practices into their construction projects.
Greenville-based Dillard-Jones Builders, LLC has long used green building products and techniques such as Low-E windows, high-efficiency heating and cooling systems, and low-impact site development in its building projects. Last May, the company adopted ENERGY STAR® standards for all of its new home construction.
